THE LAUNDERETTE
Our public self-service launderette has 3 washing machines and four dryers. We are not doing Service Washes this year, see here for more information. Social distancing measures means there can be only one user/social group in the launderette at a time. The average wash and dry takes less than 45 minutes.
SHOWER ROOM
The laundry also has a coin-operated shower with changing area. The shower is £1 for 5 minutes (time increases by 5 minutes for each £1 added). As this is a self-service area you will need your own soap, towel and shampoo. Users should spray down the shower cubicle after use and leave the area clean for others. The shower room is usually open 24 hours with shop staff checking its condition each morning, however with greatly reduced shop hours, fewer staff, the higher risk to staff and one or two customers of late leaving it in a poor condition, until further notice the shower room will be closed when the shop is closed.
